Oven and hob - This is a gas hob and there is a large lighter switch located next to the oven or in the cutlery drawer to enable you to safely light the hobs. A brand new electric oven has just been installed. There is an instruction booklet in the drawer underneath the microwave. There are 2 dials for the oven. The one to the left is the temperature and the one to the right is for the settings.

Fridge Freezer -

You should not need to adjust any settings. If you run into any difficulties (e.g. it's not cooling efficiently) please let us know.

Washing Machine -

You have 2 main settings on the machine. The small left dial is for the temperature, and the larger dial to the right is for the setting. Load your washing and pop a laundry pod into the main cycle with your washing. You also have a compartment on the top left if you want to use fabric conditioner. Make sure the door is shut firmly. Adjust the dials for the type of load you have and the temperature you require and press “ Start “.  There is list on the front of the machine advising you of the required setting to use based on your type of wash. When the load has finished you will see “ END “ on the front of the machine. You can now open the door and unload.

Microwave -

Heating -

There is a thermostat on the wall by the stairs. The house is warm generally. Adjust the dial slowly until you hear a click to turn it on and move to your desired temperature. Please ensure to turn it down to a low level when out of the house and at checkout.

Waste and Recycling

The waste and recycling bins are located directly outside the property next to the garage. There are 2 recycling bins ( Green and green lid ) and one black general rubbish bin.  Please separate your trash accordingly. BIN DAY is Wednesday! Please leave relevant bins on the front on the pavement on TUESDAY.
